AFT CT 79th Annual Business Convention

The agenda for our state federation’s annual business convention is linked below and may be further revised. The schedule will include votes on properly proposed amendments to AFT Connecticut’s bylaws, constitution and resolutions.
Deadlines for proposed constitutional amendments, resolutions and award nominations follow:
- Apr 02 2026 – proposed dues related amendments to the AFT Connecticut Constitution
- Apr 11 2026 – resolutions for consideration by Convention delegates
In accordance with the AFT CT Constitution & Bylaws, an affiliate’s delegates must comply with the following to be virtually seated at Convention:
- Apr 17 2026 – Dues paid through February 2026
- Apr 17 2026 – Submit to AFT Connecticut (via email to amowrey@aftct.org, or mailed to the AFT CT Office):
Delegates/Alternates/Guests Credentials Forms
Names and addresses of principal executive and financial officers
Names and addresses of current executive board members
Full membership roster (Excel spreadsheet, preferred)
Copy of current constitution
Copy of Audit/Review/Internal Review/Financial Statement Compilation
