As an associate professor of humanities, Ken DiMaggio sees a great variety of students at Capitol Community Technical College in Hartford.
“We have students ranging from high school graduates looking for an affordable education to adult learners looking to begin a new career,” says Ken. “We work to help students succeed and get their education.”
“The job market is tough and many adults are returning to school to get the education they need to get a new job,” says Ken. He also teaches required courses in composition and literature as well as electives in film. “I love helping my students see the power literature has to make connections across cultures.”
Connecticut needs Ken DiMaggio. He and the other teachers in our community technical colleges are providing people with a quality affordable education.
