The officers of AFT Connecticut are elected by local union delegates to the biennial convention in odd-numbered years to serve two-year terms beginning July 1. Titles under the federation’s Constitution & Bylaws were revised following adoption of proposed changes in 2015 and again in 2018 following approval of an additional submitted amendment.
The current leadership was chosen at the 76th annual event, held May 6, 2023 in Mashantucket.
