UConn Labor Coalition Higher Education, Research & Healthcare Cuts Town Hall

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions and chapters representing faculty and staff at the University of Connecticut and UConn Health are invited to participate in this important and timely event. Connecticut Attorney General William Tong will address current cuts to higher education, research and healthcare and answer questions about the future of our flagship public university and medical academic center.

In addition to the location at UConn Health, where AG Tong will be participating, faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to join remotely.

The event is being sponsored by the UConn Labor Coalition, which includes our affiliated UCHC-AAUP, UConn-AAUP, UConn Professional Employees Association (UCPEA) and University Health Professionals (UHP).
