L&M Hospital Healthcare Workers Informational Picket & Walk

Members of all AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join the healthcare workers at L+M Hospital  in their fight for living wages, improved  working conditions and better benefits. These courageous caregivers have been struggling for years to move the executives of the network that owns their facility, Yale-New Haven Health Systems, to treat them with dignity and respect. 

Meet beginning at 9:00 am at our affiliated  L&M Hospital Healthcare Workers  Union hall. The march to the hospital begins at 10:00 am and the event wraps up back at the hall with a cookout at 12:30 pm.

Note: members of our other two affiliated local unions at the hospital should not attend the picket or walk, per federal labor law (local union officers can answer any further questions).
