“Local Union Elections 101” Webinar
Members of AFT Connecticut affiliates are invited to attend a virtual workshop focusing on the many legal issues involved in conducting elections of local union officers, board members and delegates. This labor leadership training will provide a practical overview of the rules, procedures and best practices to assure a fair, transparent and effective process.
Participants will review key legal requirements, common pitfalls, campaign and nomination considerations, voting procedures, recordkeeping expectations and strategies for maintaining member trust throughout the election process. The session will include an opportunity for questions and discussion related to real-world election scenarios.
