Rally to “Fund Our Future” for UConn’s Students
Members of all AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to show solidarity for students, graduate workers, post-docs and others in the state’s flagship public higher education system. The action is in direct response to dramatic service cuts proposed by Governor Ned Lamont in his recent state budget proposal.
The event is being organized by the University of Connecticut (UConn’s) Undergraduate Student Government (USG) with the support of the State Employees Bargaining Agent Coalition (SEBAC) and the Recovery for All CT coalition.
