NewsGuard Webinar for Teachers & Paras

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions representing certified teachers and paraeducators are invited to attend this new virtual professional development course aimed at addressing how artificial intelligence (AI) is turbocharging misinformation. Participants will learn to help their students develop media literacy skills using tools
provided by our national union.

The presenter is NewsGuard Executive Vice President Sarah Brandt. The organization has partnered with AFT to empower educators and school-related personnel to counter misinformation.
