Municipal Primary Election Day

Polls are open for municipal primary elections in select communities across Connecticut. Registered voters will have the opportunity to cast ballots for candidates from their registered political party only for local office, including mayor, select and representative board members, town council members and education board members. 

Absentee ballots will be available beginning Aug 19 and must be received by their Town Clerks’ offices no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. Early voting in person is available from Sep 02 through Sep 07.
