“Public Hospital = Public Good” Town Hall Forum

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions at UConn Health are invited to be part of   protecting the state’s only public hospital, research facility, medical and dental school from privatization  .  The world-class education and care provided to students and patients are once again facing the threat of being outsourced to unaccountable profit-motivated interests.  

Special invited guest is State Comptroller Sean Scanlon, who Governor Lamont tapped to oversee the latest in a series of “financial sustainability” schemes. Members are encouraged to bring their questions about the future of UConn Health should its operations be handed over to private special interests.
