Foundations of Trauma-Informed Care Training Webinar

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated PreK-12, PSRP and healthcare unions working in school-based settings are invited to this virtual workshop focusing on the foundations of trauma-informed care. Two identical sessions are being offered for
public education and health professionals. Participants will learn a basic understanding of the practices and develop competency around:
Defining and discussing trauma;
Identifying common trauma symptoms; and
Understanding implications that trauma and toxic stress can have on behaviors.

The sessions are being presented by professional development staff at Capitol Region Education Council (CREC).
