CT AFL-CIO “Election Protection” Training

The Connecticut AFL-CIO is organizing this training session as part of a national labor movement-led effort to protect the vote from politicians who oppose free elections. Participants will learn tangible tactics for resisting any attempt by the Trump Administration or their backers to restrict Connecticut citizens from exercising their fundamental right on November 3. Training will also be provided to help ensure that ballots fairly cast in our state are counted.

The curriculum is part of the national AFL-CIO’s Union P.O.W.E.R. program. The initiative’s foundational pillar is to protect the vote and ensure every member can safely cast their ballot. The presenter is AFT Connecticut’s Matt O’Connor.
