Storrs Day of Action for Higher Ed

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated union members are invited to join the professors, faculty, staff, and students at UConn for an action in coordination with national higher education labor unions.  The purpose is to demonstrate resistance to the Trump Administration cutting grants, threatening student aid, stifling free speech and curriculum.

This local event is being  organized by our affiliated UConn-AAUP. U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal has been invited to speak.  

Fee-based parking for visitors is available on campus.
