AAUP 2026 Higher Ed Summit and Biennial Meeting

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated AAUP chapters are invited to join fellow leaders and members across the nation to meet the political moment and build a stronger movement. The event will include workshops focused on our political agenda, shared governance as well as nuts and bolts skills for running effective advocacy and collective bargaining chapters. The conference will also include presentation of awards, social events and plenaries.

The event also features, on the final two days, the national AAUP Biennial Association Meeting. The purposes are established by the AAUP Constitution and include electing AAUP Council members, voting on amendments to the Constitution, proposals, resolutions and recommendations presented to it by Council.
