Statewide, Congressional & Legislative Primary Election
Polls across Connecticut are open for political party primary elections for statewide constitutional office, district legislative, as well as congressional seats. Registered voters will have the opportunity to cast ballots for candidates from their registered political party only in contested races for:
- Governor;
- Lieutenant Governor;
- State Attorney General;
- Secretary of the State;
- State Comptroller;
- U.S. House; &
- Connecticut General Assembly (state Senate and House).
Absentee ballots will be available beginning Jul 21 and must be received by respective voters’ Town Clerks by no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. Early voting in person is available from Aug 03 through Aug 09.
