2026 CT Education Issues Summit
AFT Connecticut has teamed up with PreK-12 public education partners and stakeholders to co-host this event aimed at identifying the protections needed to ensure long-term success for the state’s students. Teachers, school support personnel, lawmakers and national leaders will examine and discuss what’s at stake for communities and outline solutions that safeguard access to quality learning.

Co-hosts include our labor allies in the Connecticut Education Association (CEA), as well as partners in the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) and the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS). National AFT President Randi Weingarten will be participating in the 12:00 pm lunch discussion.
