Higher Education “Academic Freedom” Workshop
Higher education faculty and staff in AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions and chapters, as well as allied labor organizations, are invited to this webinar aimed at securing an important state legislative initiative. Participants will learn more about a proposal to secure academic freedom for staff serving in both public and private colleges and universities across the state, and how to support it.
The agenda will include a discussion on the relevance of the issue to higher education professionals and their students, as well as the specific legislative remedy being sought.
