New Haven Teachers Union “Festival of Books”

Members of our AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions representing teachers in New Haven Public Schools are teaming up with their district and municipal colleagues to bring new books to local children. Several community organizations and local businesses are also co-sponsoring the event. Together they are partnering with First Book, an international non-profit social enterprise dedicated to provide brand new, free, and low-cost reading material to kids from low-income families.
