L&M Hospital Unions United Informational Picket & Rally
Members of all AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions and chapters are invited to show solidarity with the nurses, technologists, paramedics and healthcare workers at L+M Hospital. These courageous caregivers have been struggling to move the executives of the network that owns their facility, Yale-New Haven Health Systems, to improve working and patient care conditions.
Picketing begins at 12:00 pm outside the hospital along Montauk Avenue. A rally with a speaking program featuring union leaders and elected officials is scheduled for 5:00 pm. Members are asked to select the timeframe they can commit to in advance (on the registration form, below) to help with advance planning.
