Day of Action to "Protect Our Students, Schools & Communities"

IB ImageMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated PreK-12 and PSRP unions are again teaming up with parents, advocates and our allies in the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools for a fourth coordinated day of action across the nation. Educators in hundreds of communities across the U.S. are expected to mobilize simultaneous events before, during and after the school day.
 
All over the country, people are mobilizing for the public schools ALL our students deserve and against cutbacks, over-testing, and privatization. Join us and help build the movement for educational justice.
 
Local communities where actions are planned include:
  • Bridgeport;
  • Hartford;
  • Meriden; 
  • Middletown;
  • New Britain;
  • Norwalk; 
  • West Haven; &
  • Windham.
