SE CT Collective Rally for Safety, Protection & Respect

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated local unions at Yale-New Haven Health Systems (YNHHS)' Lawrence + Memorial (L+M) Hospital and the Visiting Nurses Association of Southeastern Connecticut (VNASC) have organized this community event. They are rallying for safety, protection and respect in the workplace and raising awareness of health professionals’ concerns that without proper personal protective equipment (PPE), communities are at risk.
Members of all affiliated local unions are invited to attend. Eight-foot social distancing and face masks will be required (donations of PPE will be collected for distribution). 
Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Bank to assist those in need.
Registration begins at 9:30AM; program begins at 10:30AM.
