State Officials Failed to “Do their Homework” in Extending Term of Special Master in Windham Schools

Willimantic - Teachers are responding to the vote Wednesday by the State Board of Education (SBOE) to renew the term of the "Special Master" overseeing the state-led turn-around of Windham Public Schools. Classroom educators are urging town and school officials, as well as the region’s legislative delegation, to conduct a swift and thorough review of the impact of reforms implemented in the district.
