Informational Picket for Health & Safety at Natchaug Hospital

Thu, 10/29/2020 - 2:00pm - 4:30pm Registered nurses in our Natchaug Hospital Unions United are raising public awareness of their fight for safety, protection and respect. They are organizing this action in partnership with their sisters and brothers in the New England Health Care Employees Union, District 1199/SEIU. Members of other AFT Connecticut-affiliated locals are invited to rally with them in solidarity as they seek workplace health and safety protections from Hartford HealthCare (HHC).
The picket will kick off at 2:00pm; confirmed attendees include:
- U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal;
- U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney;
- State Sen. Mae Flexer;
- State Rep. Susan Johnson; &
- State Rep. Brian Smith.
