Petitioning to Support Windham Hospital Unions United at 3rd Thursday Street Fest

Thu, 05/19/2022 - 6:00pm - 9:00pm Join members of our AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions representing nurses and allied health professionals at Windham Community Memorial Hospital (WCMH) at the first Third Thursday Street Festival of the year. The purpose is to inform and engaged the wider community in ongoing efforts to improved patient care and working conditions at the hospital. Executives with Hartford HealthCare, the network that owns WCMH, have yet to agree to the unions' proposals for addressing the root causes of the worsening patient care crisis.
Our table will be located on Main Street, between High Street and Walnut Street.
