Norwalk School Unions "Carousel of Reading"

Sat, 05/21/2022 - 11:00am - 3:00pm Members of our AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions representing teachers and education personnel in Norwalk Public Schools are joining their building cleaner and administrator colleagues to bring new books to local children. Together they are partnering with First Book, an international non-profit social enterprise dedicated to provide brand new, free, and low-cost reading material to kids from low-income families.
Members, parents and advocates are also encouraged to volunteer beforehand and during the event with sorting and distribution.
