NextGen Science Standards Webinar for 4-5 Teachers

Wed, 03/10/2021 - 5:00pm - 6:30pm This webinar for members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated PreK-12 unions introduces the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) with a focus on the science and engineering practices. The NGSS offers a 3-dimensional definition of what it means to learn and know science. Participants will "walk through" tasks appropriate for grade 4-5 students to become familiar with performance expectations.
The presenter is veteran educator and Meriden Federation of Teachers union member Maura Graham-Vecellio.
