PSRP Professional Development "Train the Trainer" Sessions

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions representing Paraprofessionals and School-Related Personnel (PSRPs) are invited to this "Train-the-Trainer" workshop to learn new curricula and skills. The goal is for participants to be able to bring their learning back to their locals and districts and help train their co-workers going forward. The full-day event is part of our state and national unions' commitment to providing high-quality professional learning, membership-engagement and leadership opportunities.
 
Three different workshops will be available for participants to choose from (each is a full-day course; see flyer below for full descriptions): 
  • "Work Shouldn’t Hurt";
  • Minimizing Stress; &
  • Transforming School Culture.
Participants must be able to attend a full-day workshop to become a certified trainer in the selected subject area. Participants must also be willing to provide training to their own local and at the state level in the upcoming year.
 
Breakfast will be served at 8:30AM; lunch will also be provided.
