DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of all AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join workers, parents, community members and students to raise our voices for better, safer and stronger communities across the country. The event is part of coordinated national “May Day Strong” actions aimed at expanding democracy, not corporate power. \n\n\n\nThe plan is to meet at the Soldiers and Sailors Arch in Bushnell Park at 10:00am and march to the North Steps of the Capitol at 10:15am. A speaking program will follow at 11:00am.
