DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated higher education locals and AAUP chapters are invited to learn how to organize, communicate, and advocate strategically in the company of other activists. The 2025 session presents a crucial opportunity for fighting back while continuing to advance a shared vision that:\n\n\n\n\nserves students and communities;\n\n\n\ndrives regional and national economies, &\n\n\n\nis truly affordable and accessible to all.\n\n\n\n\nParticipation is free for AFT and AAUP-affiliated union/chapter members, and includes:\n\n\n\n\nall workshop materials;\n\n\n\nbreakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday;\n\n\n\nlunch on Friday and Saturday; &\n\n\n\nopening reception on Thursday evening.\n\n\n\n\nAdvance registration is required.\n\n\n\nHousing is available in dorm-style rooms for $55.00 per night.\n\n\n\nAgenda, with scheduled plenaries and workshops, will be updated as new details are available.\n
