DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of all AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to show solidarity for the registered nurses at Backus Hospital who are demanding safer working conditions and “patients before profits.” This is an informational picket, an important step in current negotiations over successor contracts for caregivers with Hartford Healthcare, the network that operates their acute care facility. \n\n\n\nInformational picketing begins at 6:00AM and concludes at noon. Feel free to stop by at any point during that time.
