DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated AAUP chapters  are invited to attend the Connecticut State Conference-AAUP’s  full-day event on current efforts to defend higher education in today’s hostile political climate. The conference  will feature panels and presentations on:\n\n\n\n– organizing strategies for collective bargaining and advocacy chapters;\n\n\n\n academic freedom in the current moment; &\n\n\n\nCT state legislative budgets. \n\n\n\nSupported by an AAUP development grant and co-sponsored with support from all affiliated AAUP chapters in Connecticut. Hosted by the Wesleyan AAUP Chapter.\n\n\n\n Coffee will be available at 9:00 am.
