SUMMARY:Hartford Yard Goats “Organized Labor Night”
DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join the Hartford Yard Goats for their annual appreciation of all those represented by our country’s unions. The team holds the celebration to honor the history and contributions working people have made and to support the charitable efforts of the Connecticut AFL-CIO and the Connecticut Building and Construction Trades Council. \n\n\n\nMembers are encouraged to wear their local union and/or AFT Connecticut gear to the game. The event is co-sponsored by our affiliated Hartford Federation of Teachers.\n\n\n\nThe game, which features the Yard Goats playing the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, begins at 6:10pm.\n\n\n\nAttendees are encouraged to support the Household & Toiletry Goods Drive for working families in need by bringing items such as:\n\n\n\n\ntoilet paper;\n\n\n\nnapkins;\n\n\n\nfacial tissue;\n\n\n\npaper towels;\n\n\n\nsoap;\n\n\n\nshampoo;\n\n\n\ndeodorant; & \n\n\n\ntoothpaste.\n\n\n\n\nA donation drop-off will be located just inside the main gates under the “Starting Lineups.”\n\n\n\nClick here to purchase tickets for the game.\n
