SUMMARY:UConn “Stop the Cuts” Action at the Board of Trustees Meeting
DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated union members are invited to join the professors, faculty and staff in the state’s flagship higher education institution in protecting their students’ learning opportunities. The purpose is to move University of Connecticut (UConn) trustees and top administrators to stop painful budget cuts.\n\n\n\nTo send a strong, unified message to the governor and board of trustees (BOT), members are urged to bring at least one colleague and, if applicable, student with them. Action begins at 8:30am with lining the halls of Wilbur Cross near the north reading room.
