SUMMARY:Higher Ed Night at the Capitol
DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated union members are invited to join the professors, faculty and staff in the state’s public higher education institutions in protecting their students’ learning opportunities. The purpose is to stop the significant budget cuts coming to the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) and expected for the University of Connecticut (UConn) in 2024 and 2025. \n\n\n\nTo send a strong, unified message to the governor and legislative leaders, members are urged to bring at least one colleague and, if applicable, student with them.
