DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join the professors, faculty and staff in Connecticut’s flagship public university system to raise awareness  of  a worsening student learning crisis.\n\n\n\nThe purpose is to spread the word that proposed cuts will harm  University of Connecticut (UConn) students ahead of a virtual “Town Hall” scheduled  Jan 24 2024. Members are encouraged to bring at least one colleague with them for any amount of time they are available during the picket to amplify  the collective demand for  quality, public higher education.
