SUMMARY:Public Higher Education Budget Cuts Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join the professors, faculty and staff in Connecticut’s public higher education in demanding legislative action to protect public higher education. The purpose is to stop the significant budget cuts coming to CT State in 2024 and 2025 by moving legislative leaders to pass emergency funding in the spring.\n\n\n\nMembers are urged to bring at least one colleague with them to demonstrate the collective commitment and people-based power to deliver the quality higher education students need and deserve.
