DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join the professors, faculty and staff in Connecticut’s public higher education in demanding legislative action to stop painful budget cuts. The purpose is to prepare for the 2024 session of the General Assembly when lawmakers and the governor have the opportunity to invest resources into the University of Connecticut (UConn) system.\n\n\n\nMembers are urged to bring at least one colleague with them to demonstrate the collective commitment and people-based power to deliver the quality higher education students need and deserve.
