DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join the professors, faculty and staff in Connecticut’s public higher education in demanding legislative action to stop painful budget cuts. The purpose is to press General Assembly House Speaker Matt Ritter to call for a vote to allocate resources in 2024 to the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) system.\n\n\n\nMembers are urged to bring at least one colleague with them to demonstrate the collective commitment and people-based power to deliver the quality higher education students need and deserve.
