DESCRIPTION:\nThis professional development workshop for members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated healthcare unions will help caregivers identify and overcome “compassion fatigue,” an issue that impacts all facets of health professionals’ work lives. In addition to job satisfaction, emotional and physical health, the symptoms can also lead to decreased productivity and increased turnover if not addressed.
