SUMMARY:‘Safe Patient Limits’ Lobby Day for Healthcare Professionals
DESCRIPTION:\nMembers of AFT Connecticut-affiliated healthcare unions are invited to participate in this coordinated lobby day to meet lawmakers considering a proposal that will hold employers accountable for short staffing, higher patient loads and longer hours. This is an opportunity to share stories of how health professionals are being forced to take on too many patients and too many hours, leading to increased patient loads and elevated health and safety risks for all. \n\n\n\nAFT Connecticut’s legislative advocates will be on hand to help identify elected representatives.
