DESCRIPTION:\nPolls across Connecticut are open for political party primary elections for statewide constitutional office, district legislative, as well as congressional seats. Registered voters will have the opportunity to cast ballots for candidates from their registered political party only in contested races for:\n\n\n\n\nGovernor;\n\n\n\nLieutenant Governor;\n\n\n\nState Attorney General;\n\n\n\nSecretary of the State;\n\n\n\nState Comptroller;\n\n\n\nU.S. House; &\n\n\n\nConnecticut General Assembly (state Senate and House). \n\n\n\n\nAbsentee ballots will be available beginning Jul 21 and must be received by respective voters’ Town Clerks by no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. Early voting in person is available from Aug 03 through Aug 09. \n\n\n\nThe CT Secretary of the State (SOTS)’s “MyVote.CT.gov” portal provides access to a wide variety of tools and resources.\n\n\n\nAccess additional resources at our national union’s “AFT Votes” website.\n
