Public Education Forum 2020

Date:
Sat, 12/14/2019 - 10:00am - 5:00pm
Our national union is partnering with several education, parent and labor advocacy organizations to host this 2020 presidential candidates forum. It promises to be the largest event of the election cycle focused on public education and our best opportunity to hear directly from those seeking our votes on the issue.

Joining AFT to co-sponsor the forum are:
  • National Education Association (NEA);
  • NAACP;
  • Schott Foundation’s Opportunity to Learn Action Fund;
  • Journey for Justice (J4J);
  • Service Employees International Union (SEIU); &
  • Center for Popular Democracy (CPD).
The front-runners for the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee have all confirmed their attendance; more confirmations are expected.

The event will be exclusively live-streamed online at MSNBC and available at AFT’s website and social media channels. YouTube & Facebook

Additionally, AFT has organized a contest for members to win a trip to attend the forum (see link below to enter by Fri, 11/29).
