Connecticut AFL-CIO Capitol Workers Memorial Day Ceremony

Date:
Sat, 04/28/2018 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to join the Connecticut AFL-CIO and its Health and Safety Committee in honoring the women and men killed or injured on the job over the past year. The state's labor movement will come together to defend hard-won victories by working people from attacks by right-wing politicians, business groups and anti-union special interests. The purpose is to re-commit to fighting until all workers have safe jobs and the freedom to seek a better future.

Please advise the Connecticut AFL-CIO of those who have lost their lives in the workplace as well as to sign-up to participate in the reading of their names. Contact the labor federation's communications director at the contact info below.
