"Google Docs" Training Workshop for Members - POSTPONED

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions representing PreK-12 teachers are invited to attend this training on how to use Google Documents, an office suite and data storage service. The free software is a collection of applications that make it easier to produce the kinds of files commonly used in school environments: documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Topics covered in the course include: 
  • Google collaboration and the sharing of information online;
  • Google Spreadsheets;
  • Google Forms;
  • Google Presentations;
  • Google Sharing.
The course presenter is state technical high school systems teacher and union member Tommy Viola. Light dinner will be served.
 
Note: participants are asked to bring a computer or tablet with access to the Internet to follow along during the course.
