ConnectiCOSH Annual Health and Safety Convention

Date:
Fri, 10/16/2020 - 10:00am - 3:00pm
Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions are invited to ConnectiCOSH's annual convention, whose theme is the "Intersection of Community & Worker Safety And Health." The event is an opportunity to spotlight much of the work that our union members do every day -- as well as so many of the health and safety issues that all working people experience.

The day-long event will offer numerous workshops around various workplace health and safety issues. Keynote speaker is environmental activist Lois Gibbs.

Please join us for the 2020 Ray Elling Virtual Health and Safety Convention on Friday, October 16, 2020, 10-3pm (sign in at 9:30).  Although the convention is free this year, the flyer is attached if you would like to donate or become a member.  Dues or donations of any amounts are appreciated!

Because it is virtual this year, you must preregister to receive the link that will enable you to participate and receive information about the agenda and how to take part in various workshops or activities or to hear our exciting keynote speaker Lois Gibbs, whose community and environmental activism changed the lives of an entire community affected by living in close proximity to a buried toxic waste site.
